In a remote part of Africa, entrepreneur John Greystoke and his wife are killed in a helicopter crash leaving their young son to fend for himself. A group of gorillas discover the boy in the wreckage and take him in as their own where he soon adopts a new name - Tarzan.

Tarzan grows up learning the harsh laws of the jungle for nearly a decade until he encounters another human being - the young and beautiful Jane Porter. It is love at first sight, but things become dangerous when a ruthless businessman who has travelled to Africa with Jane reveals his true and sinister intentions. Facing deadly challenges from man and beast, Tarzan must use his jungle instincts and human intellect to save his home and the woman he loves.
