From Paul Haggis, the Oscar winning director of Crash, comes this remake of the French thriller Anything for Her. College professor John Brennan (Russell Crowe) lives a quiet life with his wife Lara (Elizabeth Banks) and his son Luke (Ty Simpkins) but all this is soon dramatically transformed when Lara is accused of murder and sentenced to prison.
With the evidence against her extremely strong it soon becomes clear that she has very little chance of getting out. John, convinced of her innocence soon becomes obsessed with breaking her out and fleeing the country.
