Whether it’s the faint clinks of loot dropping or the booming bass of demon spawn meeting their end, Diablo III is a game that must be heard. The SteelSeries Diablo III Headset has a lightweight, over-the-head suspension design that provides players with noise-cancelling, leather earcups. Its optimized sound is heard through 50mm driver units that have been designed to reproduce the incredible high and low tones that consistently change throughout the game.
The headset is available in a matte-black finish (replicating the SteelSeries Diablo III Mouse theme) and also features a unique, knot-work design on the headband. At the base of the headband on each side, users will see the hypnotic red glow of three slashes with additional illumination found around the outside of each ear cup. The “demon red” illumination offers players 4 levels of pulsation options (including OFF). The headset also includes a uni-directional retractable microphone-system for clear voice communication through Battle.net®. Its in-line volume and mute controls are found on a durable, double-braided nylon cord and can be connected through a USB connector. For players looking for more control over their sound settings, the headset is also powered through SteelSeries Engine software, where they will find microphone volume and equalizer settings via an easy-to-navigate Diablo III interface. SteelSeries’ family of Diablo® III products were co-designed and developed with Blizzard Entertainment and include the mouse, headset and a variety of mousepads with original in-game artwork.
