  • Description

Elizabeth Taylor Collection including: Father's Little Dividend A year after Kay s shock engagement in "Father of the Bride," Stanley Banks (Spencer Tracy) and his wife, Ellie (Joan Bennett) are in for another surprise when daughter Kay (Elizabeth Taylor) announces she is having a baby. Stanley isn t equipped to be a grandfather yet and falls silent whilst everyone makes a fuss of the mother-to-be. Stanley s silence however marks him as the one for whom Kay can turn to for support. Life with Father New York City, stockbroker Clarence Day (William Powell) competes to maintain order in his busy household. Despite his efforts to be the main authority over his four sons, his wife Vinnie (Irene Dunne) is the one who really keeps the home in order, much to Clarence's upset. To develop more recognition, Clarence tries to make changes that will help everyone, one being his own baptism. Elizabeth Taylor stars as the beautiful teenager who Clarence s eldest son is infatuated with. The Last Time I Saw Paris Charles Wills (Van Johnson), a reporter in Paris covering the end of World War II falls in love with the stunning Helen Ellswirth (Elizabeth Taylor) following a brief affair with her sister, Marion (Donna Reed). After Charles and Helen marry, Charles pursues his ambition of being an author whilst supporting Helen with an awful job at a newspaper wire service. An old investment miraculously makes them into a wealthy family, their marriage begins to unfold and a catastrophe changes everything. Divorce His, Divorce Hers Living in Rome, Jane (Elizabeth Taylor) and Martin Reynolds (Richard Burton) come to the distressing end of a long marriage. The collapsing relationship is presented firstly from Martin s view point, and then the story is told from Jane s. They are a couple with very contrasting demands. Martin is a businessman who is evasive and indifferent, and Jane will do absolutely anything to get his consideration. Eventually the relationship skirts on malice as he bores of her scheming. Jane is increasingly embittered with his lack of attention and her dull life.
