Professor Hacker loses his sight in an Egyptian pyramid. At the same time, his daughter Susie mysteriously aquires an unusual locket. They return to New York, where Susie starts displaying frightening, paranormal abilities, resulting in a string of deaths. With the help of his friend Adrian, Hacker discovers that the locket is the source of the evil. When he destroys it Susie returns to normal, but Adrian loses his life.
