The complete series of Special Branch, the Thames Television police drama series which ran from 1969 to 1974, following an anti-espionage and anti-terrorist department of the London Metropolitan Police.
Stars of the series include Derren Nesbitt as Detective Inspector Jordan, Wensley Pithey as Detective Superintendent Eden, and Fulton Mackay as Detective Superintendent Inman. Revamped in 1973, George Sewell starred as Chief Inspector Alan Craven, and Roger Rowland as Detective Sergeant Bill North. The producers later introduced Patrick Mower as Detective Chief Inspector Tom Haggerty.
Originally filmed in black and white, the series transitioned to colour following the change in cast and format.Total running time: 2650 minutes.
