This is a fictional account of a love affair between two jurors, Keith, Rafe Spall (The Rotter's Club) and Helena, Louise Delamere (No Angels). Their eyes meet while they are both reading the steamy pages of the sexually explicit D H Lawrence novel, Lady Chatterley's Lover, during the sensational 1960s obscenity trial.
Their initial attraction quickly develops an intensity, mirroring the passionate affair between Lady Chatterley and Mellors. During the week-long trial their relationship deepens into a celebration of the novel.
