The Darling Buds of May stars David Jason and Pam Ferris as the heads of 1950's 'country-bumpkin' family, the Larkins. The star studded cast also includes Catherine Zeta-Jones and Philips Franks. Pop Larkin (Jason) endeavours to make money by unconventional means whilst Ma Larkin (Ferris), in more traditional style, heads the kitchen and looks after the family's six children.
