Homer skips church and has the best Sunday of his life. He continues to avoid services and Marge becomes concerned for his soul. Then he inadvertently sets fire to the Simpson home, and is rescued by volunteer firefighters of all faiths.

Homer goes on trial against the devil. Bart rides Otto's schoolbus, convinced a gremlin outside is trying to kill him. And the Simpsons stay at the castle of vampire Mr. Burns in a parody of Dracula.

Bart Sells His Soul

To make up for a prank Bart and Milhouse are forced to do extra work around the church. While there, Bart sells his soul to Milhouse for five dollars. Then an increasingly terrified Bart tries to get his soul back - but can't locate it.

In Marge We Trust

Marge offers to help Reverend Lovejoy, and finds that parishioners would rather turn to her than to him. Meanwhile, Homer is startled to see his likeness on a box of Japanese washing powder.
