Chemistry professor David Wilson (Tony Curtis) and TV writer Michael Haney (Dean Martin) pretend to be secret agents in order to confuse Curtis' jealous wife Ann Wilson (Janet Leigh), who saw him kissing one of his pretty young students (it was in the line of duty! The girl's a spy!). Events spiral out of control as the two find themselves involved with real FBI agents, real spies and real women.

Superb performances all round in this wacky screwball comedy.
