A magnificent big cat, the lion is a symbol of strength and courage. It is the most powerful and the largest of Africa's carnivores.

With its piercing blue eyes and its superb white striped coat, the white tigress is an impressive sight. The white tigress is actually a Bengal tiger. It belongs to the same species as the red tiger but is much rarer as this difference in colour is the result of a genetic mutation (leucismus).
