When his cruiser is sunk by the Nazis, Signalman Brown (Hunter) is captured. Breaking loose in a daring escape, he steals a rifle and is able to pick off German soldiers one by one as they try to repair their damaged ship. As the frustrated battalion closes in on his hideout, Brown fights on, determined to hold them off till the British can regroup and return.. and send the enemy to the bottom!
