In this programme you can see highlights of the dissections and learn more about the human body. Your anatomical guides are controversial anatomist Dr Gunther von Hagens, who dissects the bodies, and pathologist Prof. John Lee who explains how they work in health and in disease. At the heart of each episode is a human dissection, carried out by von Hagens, each episode focussing on a different set of anatomical systems: movement, circulation, digestion and reproduction.
