Revenge thriller starring Andy Garcia, Ellen Barkin and Morgan Freeman. When he returns from a business trip in Mexico, small-time smuggler Clinton (Garcia) discovers that his lawyer brother has been tortured and murdered. Vowing revenge, Clinton gets a lead through ex-prostitute Nadine (Barkin), and a mysterious tape containing salsa music. This in turn leads him to lawyer Pratt (Freeman), and a discovery that the mob are ready to kill in order to get the salsa tape back.
