From writer Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en, Sleepy Hollow), comes a sinister technological thriller starring Edward Furlong (Terminator 2, Animal Factory).

Michael Bower (Furlong) is a horror film fanatic who loves gore and violence. When he spots a new interactive video game called Brainscan which allows the player to commit gruesome murders, it seems like the perfect thrill.

The game's referee, Trickster, eggs Michael on to play the game and commit virtual murders. When Michael discovers that the game he played has very real consequences in real life, he's torn between the commands of the Trickster and a homicide detective (Frank Langella).

Featuring a pounding soundtrack by Primus, Mudhoney, Tad and White Zombie, Brainscan is a terrifying journey into the dark side of technology.
