Car wash is a strong, irreverent and authentic portrait of an ordinary day in a typical Los Angeles service station. The ups and down of employees, customers and passers-by is told with great humour through a variety of curious characters, with some fun cameos from the likes of George Carlin, Irwin Corey, The Pointer Sisters and Richard Pryor.
