The 1993 Disney remake of the 1963 film based on the best selling novel "The Incredible Journey" by Sheila Burnford. "Homeward Bound" tells the story of Chance, an American Bulldog (voiced by Michael J. Fox), Shadow, a Golden Retriever (voiced by Don Ameche) and Sassy the cat (voiced by Sally Field), who having been left by their owners at the ranch of a family friend, think they have been abandoned and set out across 200 miles of wilderness to find the way home.
