Featuring an all-star cast including the final performance of the late Joan Sims, The Last of the Blonde Bombshells follows the recently widowed Elizabeth (Judi Dench) as she attempts to revisit her musical past.

After running into the ex-drummer of her World War II swing band (Ian Holm), Elizabeth sets outs to reunite the members of the group (Leslie Caron, Olympia Dukakis, Cleo Laine) and through her journey, the music of her past comes to life.
