Cobra Kai has returned to Reseda. After defending teenage Miguel from a group of bullies using karate, Johnny is asked by the teens grandmother to teach him how to fight. Reluctant at first, Johnny soon agrees and re-opens the Cobra Kai dojo. In doing so he also reawakens the teenage feud between himself and Daniel LaRusso, his opponent and the champion of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament.
