Freeloader Solar Chargers
This slick pack of solar power is a very neat take anywhere power station. It clips apart easily, you just affix the two solar panel wings to the main unit and it'll soak up the sun turning it into stored power for when you next need it. Once charged, the Freeloaders' internal battery can power an iPod for 18hours, a mobile phone for 44 hours, PSP for 2.5 hours a PDA for 22 hours and much, much more! The central unit can also be charged up from your PC by USB cable if the sun's looking a little on the shy side. It comes in either silver or a rather fetching steely pink with a whole clutch of adaptors for all your gizmos. It's small, slim and light, so easy to keep in your pocket or bag, and won't weigh you down on your travels.

- Solar panels charge the Freeloader's internal battery in as little as 8 hours or 3 hours when using the supplied USB charging cable.
- Holds its battery charge for up to 3 months.
- Requires sunlight or a USB port (USB cable included).
- Can be connected to the Freeloader battery charger for AA and AAA batteries.
11 adapters are included to connect the Freeloader to:
- Nokia phones old 3.5mm jack and the new 2mm jack;
- LG Chocolate, LG shine and Prada phones;
- Samsung A288 and D800 current series phones;
- Sony Ericsson K750 and K800i current series phones;
- Nintendo DS Lite;
- iPod (compatible with most iPod devices including iPhone and iPhone 3G).
Also includes:
- 4mm jack for Sony PSP, Tom Tom, most digital cameras, PDAs, 2-way radios;
- Mini USB for Motorola, Blackberry, Qtec, Smartphone, iMate, most digital cameras and Bluetooth headsets;
- USB female for PDAs, MP3 players, most digital cameras and most devices which can be charged through USB.
