Drive the GTR with revolutionary design and performance-tuned craftsmanship, the GTR is a car you’re not going to forget about in a hurry. With a twin turbo V6 driving all four wheels, you’re sure to enjoy the 473bhp channelling through the 6 speed dual clutch gearbox on the purpose-built circuit. Drive the R8 as it tries to take your breath away with its centrally-mounted, high-revving V8 petrol engine. With Audi Space Frame (ASF) construction, front and rear double wishbone suspension and the stability of quattro four-wheel-drive, push the boundaries of Audi’s racing technology, futuristic construction and luxury refinement to the maximum in the R8.
- Welcome, introduction and briefing on circuit driving techniques
- 3 demonstration laps driven by an instructor in a BMW Alpina D3
- 4 laps driving a Nissan GTR
- 4 laps driving a Audi R8
- Individual Driving Certificate and assessment from your instructor
- Allow up to 1 ½ hours for your experience
- Experience gift pack including smart wallet, personalised voucher and message card
- PA cover to a value of £50,000 plus cancellation indemnity
On arrival at the centre you’ll normally be asked to sign an indemnity form followed by a short briefing on safety procedures and driving techniques. Initially you will be
taken onto the 1.8 mile purpose built track, and as a passenger you will driven by a professional in a BMW Alpina D3. Then it’s onto the main event, you will drive for 4 laps in a Nissan GTR and also a R8. Drive the GTR, a supercar phenomenon with poise, pace and precision and the R8, inspired by the most successful Le Mans racing car of all time, providing staggering performance and brilliant handling. The experience ends with a de-brief and presentation of certificates.
- Minimum Age: 18
- Minimum Height: 5’0” (152cms)
- Maximum Height: 6’4” (193cms)
- Maximum Weight: 17 stone (108kgs)
- Health/Fitness: You should be in reasonable health.
- You must have held a full, valid UK or European driving licence for at least one year and must be able to drive manual transmissions.
- Family and friends are more than welcome to come along and watch.
- A voucher will be sent to you and can be booked from April 2009.
- This experience is available on selected Saturdays and weekdays throughout the year.
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue.
