It might look relatively innocuous, but the Video 2 PC device will allow you to bring back all those (slightly grainy) memories in no time at all. Simply install the included EZ Video Converter software, plug the USB end into your computer and the supplied cabling into your VCR, press play and get capturing.
You can then do with it what you will, even pop it on your iPod if you want that sort of thing available to watch on your commute.
You can also plug it straight into your old camcorder to stop the footage on your old tapes from being eternally consigned to areas of the house that need to be sorted 'at some point'. Have a technical walk down memory lane and rediscover all your old home movies, then put them on a DVD or your computer and preserve them in pristine condition rather than letting them deteriorate in your mouldy shed.
