Beethoven
Beethoven, America's lovable St. Bernard, is in his biggest doggone collection ever. From his beginnings as a puppy on the run from dognappers, to his travels across America, this collection features all five hilarious adventures. When the Newtons first bring home a tiny St. Bernard puppy, they would never have guessed how much his larger-than-life personality would change their lives forever. Each film features Beethoven's drooling, disaster-prone antics, but he always finds a way to save the day in the end! Follow Beethoven as he wins the hearts of Charles Grodin, Judge Reinhold, Kathy Griffin, John Larroquette, Bonnie Hunt and a host of others in these fun-filled classics.
Fly Away Home
After spending nine years apart, 13-year-old Amy (Anna Paquin) and her father Thomas (Jeff Daniels) are finally reunited. But things don't go smoothly at first, and while Thomas spends all his time testing a lightweight aircraft he has built, Amy finds solace with the geese nesting in a nearby lake. When developers then threaten to displace the geese, Amy volunteers to lead them on their migration by flying in Thomas's aircraft.
Harry and the Hendersons
George Henderson (John Lithgow) and his family run over a huge yeti-like creature on their camping holiday and decide to take him home to Seattle. There, the creature - known as 'Harry' (Kevin Peter Hall) - wreaks good-natured havoc until nosy neighbours endanger his safety.
Zathura
Squabbling brothers Danny (Jonah Bobo) and Walter (Josh Hutcherson) manage to cooperate enough to play an old mechanical board game named Zathura. However, after their first move, they find that the game has apparently flung them, their sister and their entire house into outer space. Furthermore, the brothers surmise the only way to return home is to finish the game. However with almost every move, new dangers arise as the siblings find themselves learning to cooperate in ways they never expected as they realise what they mean to each other.
Stuart Little
From Rob Minkoff, co-director of The Lion King, comes the delightful family movie Stuart Little, adapted from the classic book by beloved American author E.B. White. Despite the urgings of the local orphanage to "adopt within their own species," the Little family (Geena Davis, Hugh Laurie and Jonathan Lipnicki - the kid from Jerry Maguire) decide to bring a talking white mouse called Stuart into their household. And who could blame them' Stuart is a little guy with a big heart (not to mention whiskers, a little pink nose and a really dapper wardrobe). The story focuses on Stuart (voiced by Michael J. Fox) as he searches for a sense of belonging and a place to call home in a decidedly oversized world. When adopted by the Littles, Stuart embarks on adventures with a variety of characters-including his nemesis, family cat Snowbell (voiced by Nathan Lane)-and gradually learns the true meaning of family, loyalty and friendship. The Littles, in the meantime, discover there is a little "Stuart" in all of us-the spunk, spirit and courage to be true to ourselves and follow our dreams despite the odds. Co-written by M. Night Shyamalan (writer/director of The Sixth Sense), Stuart Little also features the vocal talents of Jennifer Tilly, Bruno Kirby, Chazz Palminteri and Dabney Coleman.
Nanny McPhee
Cedric Brown (Colin Firth) has recently lost his wife and is faced with the prospect of trying to raise his seven unruly children on his own. With the wild children too much for most nannies, all of whom have quickly left his service; Cedric is one day commanded by a mysterious voice to hire the witch-like Nanny McPhee (Emma Thompson), who uses her magical powers to keep the children in line.
