Soon, the inmates are hooked on horticulture, impressing both the Prison Governor and the colourful gardening author, Georgina Woodhouse, who urges the Royal Horticulture Society to sponsor a prisoners' show-garden.
Yet Colin finds that he is hooked on more than just roses and violets. In fact, it's a certain Primrose who now consumes his thoughts... Georgina's beautiful and elusive daughter.
