Righteous and just, Dev Prasad falls in love with Ragini, a beautiful classical dancer. They get married and he takes up his new post in Vikramasingapuram, a small town in Southern India. It's a town where the word of law is not the police, but the unlawful and untamed Veera, tribal leader of the area's 'have-nots'.
Dev knows that the key to bringing order is to vanquish the big fish - in this case Veera. With one stroke Dev manages to rip open Veera's world, setting off a chain of events which will claim lives and change destinies. Injured and enraged, Veera hits back. Thus begins a battle that draws Dev, Veera and Ragini deep into the dark jungle.
