The series, including sketches, stand-up and songs, showcased her sharp writing and ability to create a rich tapestry of sympathetic but hilarious characters. Other memorable moments included sketches such as "Shoe Shop", "Family Planning" and " Two Soups " ; morning TV's Margery and Joan; the snobby continuity announcer "I'd like to apologise to viewers in the North. It must be awful for them." and some great songs - including the amorous deliberations of Barry and Freda in the infamous "Let's Do It!" song.
