Playing at Wembley Stadium, in the final match of the last ever Five Nations Championship, Wales' rugby heroes faced the ultimate test against old adversaries England, who were hot favourites to win the game and clinch the Grand Slam. It transpired to be one of the most gripping and dramatic internationals of all time.

When Ryan Jones led his team out to face England for the opening game of the 2008 RBS 6 Nations there were old scores to settle, but not even the hardiest of Welsh rugby fans truly suspected that this would be the year.
Not since Adrian Hadley's two tries knocked the stuffing out of England in 1988 had Wales beaten the old enemy at fortress Twickenham and only six months earlier they were hammered 62-5. This made their heroic comeback performance against England all the more remarkable.

When the final whistle blew at the Millennium Stadium on 16th March 2013, 70,000 joyous Welsh fans were sent into raptures having witnessed their side crush England by 30 points to 3 to retain the RBS 6 Nations title and deny their oldest enemy a first Grand Slam in 10 years.
It was a truly magnificent performance as 23 Welsh dragons outthought and out-fought their opponents in every area of the field to roar to an incredible victory.
